Bongaigaon Woman Allegedly Confined for Nearly Eight Months After Marriage
A disturbing incident has been reported from Bongaigaon, Assam, where a woman was allegedly confined inside a locked room for nearly eight months following her marriage.
According to allegations, the woman was kept confined and allegedly subjected to mental harassment by her husband, identified as Anshuman Kalita, and his family members.
Following information about the alleged incident, officials from the Women’s Commission, along with police personnel, reached the residence and rescued the woman.
