#News || The Assam Sahitya Sabha has announced a series of initiatives to celebrate the musical and creative contributions of singer Zubeen Garg. In a landmark move, the Sabha has decided that all songs written and composed by the artist will be collectively recognised as “Zubeen Sangeet”, giving his extensive body of work a distinct cultural identity. The Sabha also plans to publish a book featuring a collection and analysis of Zubeen Garg’s songs, exploring their themes, artistic style and cultural impact. Additionally, selected songs will be translated into southern Indian languages, including Tamil and Telugu, to introduce his music to a wider audience. Apart from this, the Sabha announced that 34 plays showcased during its acting workshop will be compiled into two volumes, with publication expected within the next six months. . . . . . #lakhimpurbuzz
