According to health department data, the 81 reported swine flu cases include 49 men and 32 women. Currently, there are 26 active cases in the district, who are being treated at various major hospitals, with the highest number of patients, 18, admitted to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. Four patients are being treated at Himalayan Hospital. Additionally, one patient each is admitted to Kailash Hospital, AIIMS Rishikesh, Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) Hospital, and Graphic Era Hospital.
Along with swine flu, new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) are also increasing
. On Sunday, 1 new Covid case was registered at AIIMS Rishikesh and 2 at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. With this, the total number of Covid cases in the district has reached 23, of which 11 are local to Dehradun and 12 are from other states and districts. Currently, there are a total of 4 active Covid patients in the district, out of which 2 are admitted at AIIMS Rishikesh and 1 at Mahant Indiresh Hospital.
