Maximum Handmade Gliders Flown Simultaneously by Students at a Venue
A sky full of innovation was witnessed at Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology, Vallam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, where 966 handmade gliders were flown simultaneously by 1,932 students from schools and polytechnic colleges across Tamil Nadu on February 7, 2026. Through this inspiring initiative, young minds were encouraged towards aerospace, drone technology, and STEM learning.
