“A giant leap in the battle against cyber financial crime”
DGP UP Shri Rajeev Krishna inaugurated the Standalone 2.0 Centre of the 1930 Cyber Crime Helpline in Lucknow, in the presence of DG Cyber Crime Shri B.K. Singh, senior police officers and stakeholders from the banking and financial sectors. The enhanced facility is designed to strengthen rapid response, complaint handling and victim assistance in cyber financial fraud cases.
On the same occasion, Shri Pankaj Kumar, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, inaugurated the Cyber Fraud Mitigation Centre (CFMC), which brings banks, financial institutions and law enforcement agencies under “one roof” to enable real-time coordination, swift intervention, transaction freezing, seamless information sharing and improved fund recovery.
Together, these initiatives significantly strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s cybercrime response architecture and enhance protection for citizens in the digital age.
