Now, through #MountainsToMangroves – with support from Community Conservation Areas (CCAs) and local partners like @TERI-TheEnergyandResourcesInstitute – his community is taking bold action: restoring degraded land and reviving traditional practices, such as planting banana trees around water sources and terraced fields to help recharge groundwater. Across the Eastern Himalayas, communities like Bokato’s are protecting vital water sources and building a more resilient future.
