#NEWS|In a significant step towards enhancing Tinsukia’s urban infrastructure, beautification, and public lighting, the Tinsukia Municipal Board inaugurated state-of-the-art Decorative Heritage LED Street Lights near the Public Shri Shiv Hanuman Temple on GNB Road on Wednesday.
Assam’s Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs, Kaushik Rai, inaugurated the modern lighting project as the Chief Guest. Tinsukia MLA Pulak Gohain attended the ceremony as the Guest of Honour.
The event was also graced by Dibrugarh MLA Prasanta Phukan, Housing & Urban Development Department Commissioner & Secretary Kavita Padmanabhan, Tinsukia Municipal Board Chairman Pulak Chetia, Vice Chairperson Indra Roy, Tinsukia Development Authority Chairman Kajal Gohain, former MLA Rajendra Prasad Singh, Assam Hydrocarbon & Energy Limited Vice President Shivji Dubey, former TDA Chairman Pranab Barua, municipal councillors, and several distinguished citizens.
The newly installed Heritage LED Street Lights are expected to improve road safety, enhance nighttime visibility, and add a modern aesthetic to Tinsukia’s cityscape, marking another milestone in the town’s urban development journey.
