Dehradun is set to get a major mobility boost with the Dehradun Bypass Project, connecting Jhajhra and Asharori, a strategically important, access-controlled greenfield corridor designed to divert through traffic from the city and improve connectivity across the region. Connecting NH-7 at Jhajhra with Asharori near the Delhi–Dehradun Economic Corridor, the bypass will reduce congestion within Dehradun, enhance road safety, strengthen connectivity to Paonta Sahib, the Selaqui industrial region, and Yamunotri Dham, and provide faster interstate travel.
