Heavy overnight showers drenched Mumbai’s suburbs, with several areas recording more than 100 mm of rainfall in just four hours. Veena Nagar in Mulund recorded the highest rainfall at 160.4 mm, while Versova received 156.8 mm, leading to waterlogging and traffic disruptions in several parts of the city.

The project covers five heritage roads and aims to offer a safer and more vibrant cultural experience while preserving the precinct’s historic character.
