Acting on a reported abduction attempt, @ghaziabadpolice swiftly combined CCTV analysis, local intelligence and field surveillance to uncover a ₹5-crore kidnapping-for-ransom conspiracy.
Four accused were arrested before they could make another move.
A Swift car allegedly used in the attempt, two illegal firearms, live cartridges and a rope intended for the crime were recovered.
From tracking the suspects’ reconnaissance to dismantling the planned abduction, proactive policing ensured that the intended victim remained safe—and the kidnappers’ next destination became police custody.
