Raipur Kankaria Road to Be Widened AMC has proposed a major road widening project on the Raipur Darwaza to Kankaria stretch, increasing its width from 10 metres to 24 metres. The expansion is expected to impact around 41 properties, including residential, commercial and religious structures, with demolition planned wherever necessary. The proposal has been placed before the Standing Committee for approval, and affected property owners will be compensated as per regulations. Once completed, the project is expected to ease traffic congestion, improve connectivity and ensure smoother travel for commuters heading towards Kankaria.
