ରାଉରକେଲା ୭/୧୭ ଛକ ଠାରେ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା। ବେପରୁଆ ଗାଡି ଚାଳନା, ଓଭର ଟେକ କୁ ନେଇ ଅଟୋ ଓ ପିକଅପ ଭେନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ହୋଇଛି ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା। କେହି ମୃତାହତ ହୋଇନଥିବା ବେଳେ ଦୁଇଜଣ ସାମାନ୍ୟ ଆହତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି।
ଆସନ୍ତା ଜୁଲାଇ ୧୬ ତାରିଖରେ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ଵପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି । ଏହି ରଥଯାତ୍ରାକୁ ତ୍ରୁଟି ଶୂନ୍ୟ, ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳିତ ଏବଂ ସୁପରିଚାଳନା ଭାବେ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆଜି ପୂର୍ବାହ୍ନରେ ପୁରୀସ୍ଥିତ ଟାଉନ୍‌ହଲ୍ ପରିସରରେ ଡିଜିପି ଶ୍ରୀ ଯୋଗେଶ ବାହାଦୁର ଖୁରାନିଆଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଏକ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ତରୀୟ ସମୀକ୍ଷା ବୈଠକ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ରଥଯାତ୍ରାକୁ ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳିତ ଭାବେ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବାକୁ ପୋଲିସ୍ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ ଭାବେ ସଜାଗ ରହିଛି ବୋଲି ଆରକ୍ଷୀ ମହାନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଶ୍ରୀ ଯୋଗେଶ ବାହାଦୁର ଖୁରାନିଆ ମତବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଚଳିତ ବର୍ଷ ଲକ୍ଷାଧିକ ଭକ୍ତ ପୁରୀକୁ ଆସିବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି । ଏହାକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ସହରର ବିଭିନ୍ନ 8ଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ନୂତନ ପାର୍କିଂସ୍ଥଳ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଯାଇଛି। ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ସେବା ଓ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଉପରେ ପ୍ରାଧାନ୍ୟ ଦିଆଯିବ ବୋଲି ଡିଜିପି ଶ୍ରୀ ଖୁରାନିଆ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହାସହ ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସହନଶୀଳ ମନୋଭାବ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରିବା ଉପରେ ଡିଜିପି ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଥିଲେ। ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳିତ ଦର୍ଶନ ଏବଂ ରଥଯାତ୍ରାର ସୁପରିଚାଳନା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବ୍ୟାପକ ବନ୍ଦୋବସ୍ତ କରାଯାଇଛି । ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ଡ୍ୟୁଟିରେ ଅଭିଜ୍ଞତା ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ପୋଲିସ୍ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ନିୟୋଜିତ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଅଘଟଣ ମୁକ୍ତ ରଥଟଣା ଏବଂ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ପରିଚାଳନା ଉପରେ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ଵ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଛି ବୋଲି ଡିଜିପି କହିଛନ୍ତି । ଉତ୍ତରା ଛକରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ପୁରୀ ,ପୁରୀ -କୋଣାର୍କ ରୋଡ ସହିତ ସହରର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଛକରେ ମଧ୍ୟ କ୍ୟାମେରା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରାଯାଇଛି। ଯାହା ଫଳରେ ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ ପରିଚାଳନାରେ ସହଯୋଗ ଓ ସୁବିଧା ମିଳିପାରିବ ବୋଲି ଡିଜିପି ଆଶାବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ (ଗୁଇନ୍ଦା) ଶ୍ରୀ ଆର୍. ପି. କୋଚେ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ୍ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ, ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିବିଶେଷଙ୍କ ଗମନାଗମନ, ଭିଡ଼ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ଏବଂ କର୍ଡନ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହା ସହିତ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ଅଧିକ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ ଓ ସମନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରତ ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ନିଜ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନିରନ୍ତର ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ସେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଆରକ୍ଷୀ ମହାନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ( ଆଧୁନିକୀକରଣ) ଶ୍ରୀ ସୌମେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରିୟଦର୍ଶୀ ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କୁ ସେବା ମନୋବୃତ୍ତି ନେଇ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସମ୍ପାଦନ କରିବା ସହ ଭକ୍ତମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସୌହାର୍ଦ୍ୟପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ, ଭଦ୍ର ବ୍ୟବହାର ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରିବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟର ନିଷ୍ଠାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସମ୍ପାଦନକୁ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ଭାବେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ସହ କୌଣସି ପରିସ୍ଥିତିରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ନିଜ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ଡ୍ୟୁଟି ସ୍ଥଳ (Duty Spot) ଛାଡ଼ି ନଯିବାକୁ ସେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଛ
Kumar Mangalam Birla Meets CM Aditya Birla Group Proposes ₹12,000 Crore Investment for Expansion of Kansariguda Alumina Refinery Refinery Capacity to be Enhanced from 1 to 3 MTPA Aluminium Central to our Vision of Metal Value Addition - CM Bhubaneswar, July 11, 2026: Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi today held a discussion with Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman, Aditya Birla Group, to review the progress of the Group’s ongoing and proposed investments across the State. The meeting provided a platform to discuss the implementation of major projects being undertaken by the Group in Odisha and identify measures for their timely facilitation. Discussions also focused on further expansion of the Aditya Birla Group’s presence in sectors where it does not currently have significant operations in the State. A major outcome of the meeting was the Group’s proposal to expand its greenfield alumina refinery project at Kansariguda in Kashipur Tehsil of Rayagada district. The project is being developed by Hindalco Industries Limited. The refinery was initially envisaged with a capacity of 1 million tonnes per annum and an investment of approximately ₹8,000 crore. Considering the long-term potential of the project and the proactive support extended by the Government of Odisha, the Group has proposed an additional investment of approximately ₹12,000 crore to enhance the refinery’s capacity by another 2 million tonnes per annum. With the proposed expansion, the total capacity of the Kansariguda refinery will increase to 3 million tonnes per annum, with an overall investment of approximately ₹20,000 crore. The project is expected to generate substantial direct and indirect employment and create further opportunities for local enterprises, service providers and downstream industries. ଭଦ୍ରକ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଧାମନଗର ବ୍ଲକ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଏକ ଅଭାବନୀୟ ତଥା ମର୍ମନ୍ତୁଦ ଘଟଣା ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସିଛି। ନଦୀ ତୁଠରେ ଗୋଡ଼ ଖସିଯିବାରୁ ପାଣିରେ ବୁଡ଼ି ଜଣେ ୫ ବର୍ଷର ଶିଶୁ ପୁତ୍ରର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଘଟିଛି। ମୃତ ଶିଶୁଟି ହେଉଛି ଭଟସାହି ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ବାମଦେବପୁର ଗ୍ରାମର ବସାସାହିର ଜ୍ୟୋତି ପ୍ରକାଶ ପଣ୍ଡାଙ୍କ ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ରୋହନ ପଣ୍ଡା। ଏହି ଘଟଣା ପରେ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଗଭୀର ଶୋକର ଛାୟା ଖେଳିଯାଇଛି। ସୂଚନା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ଗତକାଲି (୧୦ ଜୁଲାଇ) ସକାଳ ପ୍ରାୟ ୯ଟା ସମୟରେ କୁନି ପୁଅ ରୋହନ ଘର ନିକଟରେ ଥିବା କଣ୍ଡିଆ ନଦୀ କୂଳକୁ ଚାଲିଯାଇଥିଲା। ସେଠାରେ ହଠାତ୍ ଗୋଡ଼ ଖସିଯିବାରୁ ସେ ନଦୀ ପାଣି ସ୍ରୋତରେ ଭାସି ଯାଇଥିଲା। ଦୀର୍ଘ ସମୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରୋହନ ଘରକୁ ନ ଫେରିବାରୁ ପରିବାର ଲୋକେ ବ୍ୟସ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କ ସହ ମିଶି ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଖୋଜାଖୋଜି କରିଥିଲେ। ଶେଷରେ ଦିନ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧ଟା ସମୟରେ ନଦୀ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଶିଶୁଟିର ନିଶ୍ଚଳ ଦେହ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଘଟଣା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଖବର ପାଇ ଧୁଷୁରୀ ଥାନା ପୁଲିସ ତୁରନ୍ତ ବାମଦେବପୁର ଗ୍ରାମରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ମୃତଦେହକୁ ଜବତ କରିଥିଲା। ଏନେଇ ପୁଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଏକ ଅପମୃତ୍ୟୁ ମାମଲା ରୁଜୁ କରାଯାଇ ଶବ ବ୍ୟବଚ୍ଛେଦ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଭଦ୍ରକ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଚିକିତ୍ସାଳୟକୁ ପଠାଯାଇଛି। ଜ୍ୟୋତି ପ୍ରକାଶଙ୍କ ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ହରାଇ ପରିବାର ଲୋକେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି
*AKSHAYA KUMAR SETHY, ASI OF NACHUNI POLICE STATION, KHORDHA BOOKED BY ODISHA VIGILANCE FOR DEMANDING AND TAKING BRIBE TO COMPROMISE A LAND DISPUTE. ASI ESCAPES WITH BRIBE MONEY SEEING VIGILANCE TEAM*. On 10.07.2025 late night, *Akshaya Kumar Sethy, ASI of Nachuni Police Station, Khordha was booked by Odisha Vigilance for demanding and taking bribe of Rs 5,000/- to close a case registered at the PS over a land dispute which was compromised later by the two parties*. On 05.07.2026, the complainant had registered a case in the said PS against the opposite party in a land dispute matter. At the same time, the opposite party had also registered a case against the complt. *Sri Sethy, ASI was the Investigating Officer of the cases*. However, on the same day in the evening, a compromise was made by both parties involved in the cases. *After the compromise, ASI Sri Sethy demanded bribe Rs.10,000/- ( Rs.5,000/- from each party) for finalising the cases at PS Level*. As the complt had to return to his workplace outside Odisha, he requested the ASI for quick disposal of his case. On this, ASI Sethy instructed him to bring an affidavit along with demanded bribe Rs.5,000/- on 10.07.2026, after which he would do the needful. *Aggrieved by the demanded bribe, the complt approached the Vigilance authorities*. Upon receiving the information, *a team of Odisha Vigilance swung into action and kept vigil on the ASI from a distance while he was taking the demanded bribe money*. However, after taking the bribe, on seeing the approaching Vigilance team, the ASI escaped from the spot ( a secluded dark place) on his motorcycle with the bribe money Rs.5000/- received from the complt. Following the incident, simultaneous searches have been launched at locations linked to Sri Sethy in presence of Nachuni PS officials. In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance P.S.Case No.16 dtd.10.07.2026 u/s 7 P.C. (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Efforts are on to nab the ASI in the briber
