Under the Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF), M/s Jay Jay Aquatec Pvt. Ltd. has set up a desalinization plant for Blue Bay Culture Uzhavarkarai village, Puducherry, with a project cost of ₹0.62 crore.

M/s Highland Agro has expanded the processing unit based at Khantapada, Balasore district of Odisha with support under the Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund(FIDF), with a project cost of ₹35.48 Crore
