We recently visited @punjabaurakitchen for a delicious North Indian and Mughlai meal featuring Papdi Chaat, Veg Kurkuri, Ajwaini Fish, Amritsari Chole, Kadhai Chicken, Mutton Rogan Josh, garlic naan, jeera rice and pineapple raita. The Chilli Guava mocktail, Mango Lassi, Phirni and Gulab Jamun made the meal even better. Looking for a new North Indian restaurant in Delhi? We recently got a first look at @aure.heer located inside Panchshila Rendezvous, Malviya Nagar.

From kababs and tikkas to hearty North Indian mains and a classic jalebi-rabri dessert, the menu offers a mix of familiar flavours with a few interesting twists. One combination that stood out for us was the Jalapeño Cheese Naan with Noorani Kofta - definitely worth trying if you’re a vegetarian.

If you’re planning to explore restaurants in South Delhi, add this new opening to your food list and let us know what we should review next!

There are restaurants you visit for a meal, and then there are places where the food comes with decades of stories. ❤️

Our dinner at @motimahalgkone felt like a meeting of old Delhi food legacy and a beautiful contemporary dining experience. The table was loaded with North Indian favourites - smoky kebabs, tikkas, fresh breads from the tandoor and, of course, the iconic Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani that have long been associated with the Moti Mahal legacy.

Meeting @monishgujral and hearing about the @motimahalofficial story made the dinner even more memorable.

If you are looking for authentic North Indian food, Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani or a special family dining experience in South Delhi, Moti Mahal GK 1 deserves a place on your food list.

Save this for your next North Indian food craving. ❤️

Awadh brought its craft traditions to Delhi, and we went exploring! ✨

At Husn-e-Karigari-e-Awadh, we discovered beautiful Indian handicrafts, handwoven clothes, traditional Chikankari, block-printed shirts for men, handmade home decor, ceramic products, artistic lamps and a lot more.

The Awadh craft festival in Delhi also had workshops on Chikankari and traditional kite making, giving visitors a closer look at the skills and stories behind these age-old crafts.

From handloom and textiles to artisan-made products and home decor, this was a lovely showcase of Awadh’s art, culture and karigari in Delhi.

One unforgettable evening where history met hospitality. ✨ We attended the first chapter of The Living Table, organized by @inkpotindia_ beginning with a fascinating discussion on how migration and partition shaped the flavours and recipes of Indian cuisine. The evening concluded with a spectacular luxury dining experience by Moti Mahal at Neem Haveli, @kathikaolddelhi where handcrafted cocktails, live music, and timeless North Indian dishes were served in a stunning heritage courtyard illuminated by grand chandeliers. Some exhibitions don’t ask you to choose one style over another-they invite you to appreciate both.

We attended the media preview of this unique exhibition that brings together three remarkable women from the Indian art world. Curated by Pragati Agarwal of @arttree_ the show features two accomplished contemporary artists, @shravanidang and @shoumabkak both in their 60s, who continue to create powerful art in completely different ways.

While Shouma B. Kak’s works are quiet, meditative, and deeply introspective, Shravani Dang’s paintings are bold, vibrant, and full of energy. Seeing these contrasting artistic voices in one space makes for a thought-provoking experience.

If you enjoy art, this exhibition is well worth a visit. Entry is free, making it an easy addition to your weekend plans.

Looking for the perfect Bhopal itinerary for 1 or 2 days? We recently explored Bhopal and were pleasantly surprised by how much this beautiful city has to offer. From the fascinating Tribal Museum and State Museum to the artistic Bharat Bhavan, the majestic Taj-ul-Masajid, Raja Bhoj Setu, Gauhar Mahal, and the scenic Upper Lake, Bhopal is packed with history, culture, architecture, and food experiences.

Known as the City of Lakes, Bhopal is also one of the cleanest cities we have visited in India. Most tourist attractions are located close to each other, making it an ideal weekend getaway from Delhi and other nearby cities. We also tried local favourites like poha jalebi, Mahua jalebi, tribal thali, chai at Raju Tea Stall, and vegetarian snacks from Manohar Dairy.

Unlimited kebabs, live grills on the table, a massive buffet spread and desserts that make you forget you’re already full - that’s what our dinner at Pirates of Grill, Vasant Kunj looked like.

From freshly grilled starters and flavourful mains to refreshing summer coolers and indulgent desserts, there was plenty to keep everyone at the table happy. We especially enjoyed the live grill experience, the variety across Indian and Asian cuisines, and a mango tres leches cake that was hard to resist.

If you’re looking for a buffet restaurant in Delhi for a family outing, dinner with friends or a celebration, Pirates of Grill is still one of the city’s most popular spots for an unlimited feast.

Delhi’s art scene is getting an exciting new addition this June. What Is Seen, What Remains brings together artists Shouma B. Kak and Shravani Dang, whose distinct visual languages create a fascinating dialogue between introspection and expression. Through works inspired by memory, nature, colour, stillness and movement, the exhibition explores how contrasting artistic perspectives can share the same space while offering entirely different ways of seeing the world.

Few travellers discover the hidden stories tucked away inside the forests of Purulia. On this trip, we explored Pakhi Pahar, a unique open-air art project where massive boulders have been transformed into sculptures inspired by birds, wildlife and nature. We also wandered through the forests around the Bird Hill, visited the colourful Chhau mask makers of Chorida Village, and ended the journey at the stunning Marble Lake near Ayodhya Hills.

If you love offbeat destinations, slow travel, local art, cultural experiences and lesser-known places in West Bengal, Purulia deserves a spot on your travel list.
