Brief Description

The scheme aims to impart vocational education alongside academic learning to students of classes 9 to 12 in selected government secondary schools. Vocational education is offered in 08 sectors approved by the Government of India under the NSQF framework.

1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand. 1. The applicant must be studying in classes 9 to 12 in one of the 200 selected government secondary schools of Uttarakhand.

Application Process

- All students studying in classes 9 to 12 in government secondary schools where vocational education is conducted can take admission in the sectors operated under this programme. - If a student from another school wishes to study the vocational education curriculum, they must take admission in a school where the vocational education curriculum is being conducted. - Students already studying in such schools can choose vocational education as one of their subjects like other subjects. For this, no separate application is required. - There is also no need to submit any documents for the selection of vocational education subject.
