1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand. 1. The applicant must be a folk artist. 1. The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe community. 1. The applicant&39;s monthly income must not exceed ₹2,000/-. 1. Only one set of musical instruments is provided per artist in a family under this scheme.

Application Process
- The Directorate of Culture publishes an advertisement for providing traditional musical instruments and costumes to eligible SC/ST individuals. - Following the advertisement, the concerned individuals are required to submit to the Director of the Culture Directorate a certificate of monthly income of ₹2,000/- issued by the Tehsildar, a certificate of artist/instrument, Aadhaar card, caste certificate, bank account details including account number and IFSC code, PAN card, permanent residence certificate, and an affidavit stating that the beneficiary has not received any grant under other schemes. - Eligible beneficiaries are selected by a committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Secretary of Culture at the Directorate level. After the selection process, beneficiaries can collect the musical instruments from the Directorate.
