Brief Description
The scheme aims to provide financial support to diploma and graduate-level students who are orphans, whose parents or either parent has died due to COVID-19, or who are dependents of martyrs from the military or central armed forces.

The applicant must be an orphan, have lost one or both parents due to COVID-19, or be a dependent of a martyr from the military or central armed forces. 1. The applicant’s annual family income must not exceed ₹8,00,000/-.

Application Process
- These scholarships are administered by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Applications under the AICTE schemes are invited through the <nis:link nis:type=webUrl nis:id=slugId nis:text="National Scholarship Portal" nis:value=https://scholarships.gov.in/ nis:enabled=true/> (NSP) between September and December, and scholarships are awarded based on merit. - Applicants are required to submit their high school and intermediate mark sheets and certificates, along with an income certificate. For this scheme, the death certificate of the candidate’s parent(s) is also required. - Students must first apply online through the institute where they are enrolled. The application is then verified by the concerned Principal, followed by verification by the State Level Officer (SLO), and finally forwarded to the AICTE, New Delhi.
