The District Legal Services Authority, established in the district court complex of each district, along with officers appointed at each external court and tehsil level, designated advocates, staff, and para-legal volunteers, receive one to three days of training to enable them to assist senior citizens, disabled, and destitute individuals. When necessary, para-legal volunteers also conduct door-to-door awareness campaigns. If an elderly person requires any assistance, they can contact a legal volunteer in their area, who is responsible for providing support to senior citizens, disabled individuals, and other destitute persons.
