After the institutional delivery of a pregnant woman registered at an Anganwadi Centre, a Mahalakshmi Kit is provided as a benefit. The following items are included in the kit for mothers and their newborn girl children: - For Mothers: Dry fruits, socks, scarf, towel, shawl, blanket, bedsheet, sanitary pads, mustard oil, soap, and nail cutter.- For Newborn Girl Child: Cotton/warm cap, socks, diaper, towel, baby soap, rubber sheet, warm blanket, and vaccination card.
