Brief Description
The scheme aims to train and certify youth of Uttarakhand as skilled kayaking instructors with essential life-saving skills. Under this scheme, specialized training in life-saving techniques and kayaking is provided to selected youth beneficiaries of Uttarakhand.

1. The applicant must be a youth of Uttarakhand. 1. The applicant must be at least 18 years of age. 1. The applicant should be able to swim 100 meters within 3 minutes. 1. The applicant must be educated. 1. The applicant must be mentally and physically fit. 1. The applicant must have prior training in life-saving techniques and water sports operations from a recognized institute. > The total number of 15 beneficiaries will be selected.

- The prescribed application form must be duly filled and submitted along with the required documents to the office of the District Tourism Development Officer. - The applications are evaluated on practical parameters by the trainers from the National Institute of Water Sports (NIWS), Goa.
