The scheme aims to train and certify youth of Uttarakhand as professional high-altitude guides who have already completed a Low Altitude Guide Course from a recognized institution.

- The applicant must be a youth from Uttarakhand. - The applicant must have completed a Low Altitude Guide Course from a recognized institution. > The total number of 41 beneficiaries will be selected.

Application Process
- Applicants must complete the prescribed application form and submit it along with the required documents to the office of the District Tourism Development Officer. - Upon completion of the tests, the District Tourism Development Officer will forward the list of shortlisted candidates to the headquarters. - Final selection of participants will be made by a committee constituted at the headquarters.
