Application Process

Interested applicants can submit their applications in the prescribed format (available at the IDTR office) in offline mode at the Institute of Driving and Traffic Research (IDTR), Dehradun. Required Documents for Light Motor Vehicle (Vocational Course): - Aadhaar card of the applicant. - Caste certificate of the applicant. - One recent passport-size photograph. - High School Certificate or 8th Class Transfer Certificate. - A valid Light Motor Vehicle (Non-Transport) Driving License, at least one year old. For Heavy Vehicle (Vocational Course): - Aadhaar card of the applicant. - Caste certificate of the applicant. - One recent passport-size photograph. - High School Certificate or 8th Class Transfer Certificate. - A valid Light Motor Vehicle (Transport) Driving License. - The license must be at least one year old. For Refresher Courses: - Aadhaar card of the applicant. > A valid Driving License to operate a Light or Heavy Motor Vehicle. Validity: There is no time limit. Renewal: It is not required. Fees: Free of cost. Process: Applications are scrutinized, and eligible candidates are admitted to the training program on a first-come, first-served basis. Process: Applications can be submitted throughout the year, and training commences as soon as batches are formed.
