Brief Description

The "Disability Relief" scheme was launched by the Telangana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, LET&F (Labour) Dept. Telangana aimed at providing financial support to registered building & other construction workers who suffer from total or partial permanent disabilities.

1. The worker should be a registered building or construction worker with the Telangana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. 1. The disablement must have occurred due to an accident at the worksite. 1. Such disablement may be either temporary or permanent.

Application Process

Step-1: The interested applicant visits the <nis:link nis:type=webUrl nis:id=slugId nis:text="official website" nis:value=https://tbocwwb.telangana.gov.in/index.html nis:enabled=true/> and clicks on "<nis:link nis:type=webUrl nis:id=slugId nis:text="Downloads" nis:value=https://tbocwwb.telangana.gov.in/new_downloads.html nis:enabled=true/>" at the top of menu options. Step-2: Now click on the download button corresponding to the scheme name. Step-3: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required). Step-4: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the concerned Assistant Labour Officer. Step-5: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).

The relief amount is determined based on the extent of disability as per the Employees’ Compensation Act, 1923.
