Brief Description

The scheme aims to promote leather industry, improve production & quality of leather products, develop new designs, & generate self-employment. Under this scheme, training is provided in latest techniques for leather dyeing, Nagara Jooti, leather goods, etc. through District Industry Centers.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan. 1. The applicant&39;s age should be between 18 to 35 years. 1. The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), or General category. 1. The applicant should be literate. Note 1: The Selection Committee has the authority to provide up to 10 years of age relaxation on a case-by-case basis. Note 2: Preference will be given to trainees who have passed 8th standard and are more educated.

Application Process

Step 1: The applicant must write an application on plain paper mentioning complete personal details. Step 2: Attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest if required). Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the General Manager of the concerned District Industries and Commerce Centre (DIC). Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the General Manager to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission and a unique identification number (if applicable).
