Brief Description

Under this scheme, a Scheduled Tribe family receives 50kg of wheat or rice and cooking utensils from the Panchayat upon the birth of a child. In the event of a family member's death, the family is provided with 1 quintal of wheat or rice.

1. The beneficiary should be a native of Madhya Pradesh. 1. The beneficiary should belong to the Scheduled Tribe category. 1. The beneficiary should reside in a rural area. 1. No family member should be employed in government service (Class 1/2/3) or hold a high-ranking post. 1. The beneficiary must reside in one of the 20 identified tribal districts of Madhya Pradesh: Mandla, Dindori, Balaghat, Shahdol, Anuppur, Umaria, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Barwani, Ratlam, Hoshangabad, Betul, Sidhi, Seoni, Chhindwara, Dhar, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, and Sheopur. Note: Benefits under the scheme are provided for the birth of the first or second child of the couple.

Application Process

Step 1: Eligible applicants should contact the Gram Panchayat Secretary to avail of the benefits under this scheme. Step 2: Register the birth or death on the SPR Portal (<nis:link nis:type=webUrl nis:id=slugId nis:text="http://spr.samagra.gov.in/" nis:value=https://spr.samagra.gov.in/ nis:enabled=true/>) through the Gram Panchayat Secretary. Step 3: At the time of registration of birth or death on the SPR Portal, the Gram Panchayat Secretary will select the beneficiaries and provide a help receipt for the benefit of this scheme.
