1. Those farmers who are not currently cultivating vegetables will be encouraged to cultivate vegetables. 1. Farmers having forest rights certificates will also be eligible to avail the benefits. 1. The grant under the scheme will be given to a farmer only once. 1. A farmer can do farming for the first time in as much area as he wants but the grant will be payable for a minimum of 0.25 hectares and a maximum of 2.00 hectares.

Root and tuber commercial crops, arbi etc. production, planting material 50% of the cost subject to a maximum of ₹30,000/- per hectare, whichever is less. This grant will be payable.
