Brief Description

The scheme is implemented by the School Education Department, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, aims to ensure the continuity of education for students from the Backward Classes. Under this scheme, scholarships are provided to Backward Classes students studying in Classes 6 to 10.

1. The applicant should be a student. 1. The student should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh. 1. The student should belong to the Backward Classes or Minorities community. 1. Students from Class 6 to 10 are eligible for the benefits under this scheme. 1. The parents or guardians should not be income taxpayers or own more than 10 acres of land. Note: There should not have been any increase in the income of the parents or guardians in the past year.

- To avail of the benefits under this scheme, eligible students can contact the Principal of their respective schools/institutions. Note: The profile of the students is entered on the education portal <nis:link nis:type=webUrl nis:id=slugId nis:text="https://shikshaportal.mp.gov.in/" nis:value=https://shikshaportal.mp.gov.in/ nis:enabled=true/> by the teacher of the educational institution as per the record/certificate provided by the student.

What is the scholarship amount for students in Classes 6 to 8?

Boys receive ₹200/- per year, and girls receive ₹300/- per year.

Boys receive ₹300/- per year, and girls receive ₹400/- per year.

How will the scholarship amount be disbursed?

The scholarship amount will be directly deposited into the student's bank account.
