Brief Description

The "Kisan Samriddhi Yojana" by the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Cooperative, Government of Jharkhand, promotes solar-powered irrigation systems to reduce agricultural costs and dependency on fossil fuels. Farmers receive up to 90% subsidy for solar units under this initiative.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant should be a farmer, self-help group, cooperative, or farmer producer organization registered in Jharkhand. 1. The applicant must have a valid Aadhaar card and Aadhaar-linked mobile number. 1. A registered office of the group/organization must be located in Jharkhand. 1. The applicant must own or have access to land near a water source. 1. Only one member per family is eligible for benefits. 1. The applicant should be aged 18 years or above.

Application Process

Step-1: The applicant should gather copies of the necessary documents needed to apply for the concerned scheme. Step-2: The applicant should visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and complete the Biometric Verification Process. Step-3: The applicant should ensure that the CSC agent completes all mandatory fields in the application form and uploads copies of all required documents. Step-4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable). NOTE: - Applicants must link their ration card with Aadhaar for e-KYC verification. - Pay the 10% contribution fee as per the unit cost.
