The scheme aims to provide a subsidy per unit for purchasing insulated vehicles for the beneficiaries to promote cold-chain logistics in fish transportation.

1. The applicant should be a fish farmer. 1. The applicant must possess a Family Identity Card (Parivar Pehchan Patra). 1. The applicant must ensure that the fish transportation facility is maintained in working condition. 1. The applicant must not have availed a grant for a similar insulated (reefer) vehicle earlier.

Who is eligible to apply?
Any fishery activity practitioner with a valid Family ID card who has not previously availed such a grant.
What is the maximum grant provided?
₹20,00,000 per unit (subject to subsidy percentage).
Can I apply for more than one vehicle?
No, only one insulated vehicle is allowed per beneficiary.
Will I receive the subsidy before starting fisheries activity?
No, the subsidy is released after the initiation of the fishery activity.
Are there any government liabilities if the vehicle gets damaged?
No, all risks are borne by the beneficiary.
What is the application processing time?
The application process takes approximately 40 days.
Are the service charges fixed?
Yes, ₹10 for department service and ₹10 for Atal Seva Kendra.
Where can I apply for this scheme?
The applicant can apply at the local District Fisheries Office or the Antyodaya SARAL portal .
What documents are required to apply?
Attached: Birth Certificate, Caste Certificate (For SC beneficiaries, issued by First Class Magistrate or Tehsildar), Agreement Form, Fisheries Training Certificate (Proof of having undergone training in fisheries-related activities), Bill/Receipt/Voucher, Bank Account Details (Copy of Passbook) and PAN Card, etc.
Is a driving license compulsory?
Yes, a copy of the driving license must be provided.
