Brief Description

The scheme aims to expand fisheries in various urban/semi-urban areas. Through this scheme, financial assistance and subsidies are provided for the construction of new rearing ponds.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant must have a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). 1. The construction of new rearing ponds subsidy will be provided by the State Government for the expansion of fisheries in various urban/semi-urban areas, only under the construction of new ponds under the PMMSY scheme. 1. The applicant shall be provided with central assistance for the Construction of New Rearing unit costs for the initial crop only in the newly constructed ponds. 1. The projects having land on long-term registered lease shall also be considered for Central financial assistance under the scheme. However, the lease period/agreement shall not be less than a minimum period of 7 (seven) years. 1. The applicant, having their land, must furnish revenue records with a clear land title.

• Agreement Deed between the beneficiary and the Fisheries Department.
• Date Of Birth Certificate (Voting Card/Birth Certificate/Aadhar Card/Matriculation Certificate).
• Caste Certificate (from first-class Magistrate, Tehsildar).
• Training Certificate.
• Land Record (from Tehsil: Own Land-Jamabandi, Nakal Akshizra Farad; or registered lease deed of minimum 7 years).
• Bills/Receipts/Vouchers.
• Photographs of Ponds/Nurseries/Aerators, etc. with beneficiary.
• Details of Bank Account and PAN Card.
• Detailed Project Report (DPR)/Self-Contained Proposal (SCP) as per PMMSY guidelines.
