- Individuals/ societies/ self-help groups/ associations/ reservoir monopolies/ private units etc. involved in inland fisheries activities can avail the benefits of inland schemes. - The applicant should be a Fisherman. - The applicant should belong to the Schedule Tribe(ST) category. - Applicant should be above 18 years of age. - The beneficiary fisherman must have his own bank account.

Step 3: Now select the scheme, click on the ‘Apply’ button and an application page will open. Step 4: Click on "Apply New" button and submit a new application. Step 5: Click on the "Update Application" button to add corrections to the application. Step 6: Once the application is done, confirm it. Step 7: Take a print out of the confirmed application. Women will receive ₹90/- per 1000 spawn, with a minimum 30% recovery from spawn to fry.
Does the scheme provide assistance for fish seed stocking?
Yes, 100% assistance is provided to Scheduled Caste (SC) beneficiaries for the cost of fish seed and transportation.

Yes, Scheduled Tribe (ST)) trainees receive a scholarship of ₹2,000/- per month for three months. A trainee is eligible for the scholarship only on the basis of a minimum 60% attendance.
What is the minimum time limit for reclaiming benefits?
The minimum time limit varies: Fish seed rearing & stocking: 1 year. Boat & net assistance: 6 years. Fish cage culture: 3 years. Training of tribal trainees: Once in a lifetime.
