Step 3: Now select the scheme, click on the ‘Apply’ button and an application page will open. Step 4: Click on "Apply New" button and submit a new application. Step 5: Click on the "Update Application" button to add corrections to the application. Step 6: Once the application is done, confirm it. Step 7: Take a print out of the confirmed application. The scheme provides financial assistance of up to 75% of the cost of farm implements (limited to ₹7,50,000/-) in general areas and up to 85% (limited to ₹8,50,000/-) in tribal areas.
How is the financial assistance distributed over the years?
In general areas, the assistance is provided as 40% in the first year, 10% in the second and third years, and 7.5% in the fourth and fifth years. In tribal areas, the assistance is 50% in the first year, 10% in the second and third years, and 7.5% in the fourth and fifth years.
Can an individual farmer apply for the scheme?
An individual farmer can apply only if they hold an agricultural qualification such as a Diploma, Graduate, or Postgraduate degree in Agriculture or a Bachelor of Rural Studies (B.R.S.). Otherwise, only eligible groups and cooperative institutions can apply.
